The Office of Continuity Planning (OCP) coordinates systemwide initiatives to sustain our mission — teaching, research, and public service — against disruptive events. OCP created UC Ready, an online tool that enables departments to maximize their resilience and sustainability in two major ways:

1. By identifying their critical functions and how they would continue these functions after an event whether large or small.
2. By creating a list of actions items that will take departments to a higher state of readiness and enable them to be better prepared for the future.

In sum, sustainability of the enterprise is our mission.
